Rev. Allen M. Ford, Pastor of Grace First Baptist Church
Rev. Allen M. Ford is a native of Lake View, South Carolina, born to Doris Ford and John McNeil. Rev. Ford received his early childhood education in Lake View, and graduated from Lakeview High School. In 1988, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served honorably for four years and defended his country in Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Desert Calm of the Gulf War.
In 1993, Rev. Ford graduated from International Business College, Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he received a Business Diploma in Computer Accounting. In 1996, he joined Grace Fist Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Aaron Brasfield, Jr. In 1997, he became a Sunday School Teacher under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Walter L. Starks. Rev Ford was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ on October 15, 2000 and ordained on December 19, 2003.
He graduated from the Billy Graham School of Evangelism in August of 2008. In October of 2009, he received his certification from the Family Dynamics Institute and is now a certified marriage facilitator. Rev. Ford is currently enrolled in the Pastoral Care Specialist Program at Vision International University, CA and the Diploma of Christian Studies Graduate Program at Tyndale Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (SSCC) and the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC).
Rev. Ford has been married to the love of his life, Renee, for eighteen years. They have three children: their youngest Bria, a high school student; two adult children Antoinette and Reginald; and two grandchildren, Ajaiah and Tracy.
