The Education Committee's Wednesday After School Tutoring Programs have ended for the 2012-2013 school year.  We look forward to working with our elementary, middle, and high school youth again in August 2013.  If you need tutoring help in any subject or any grade between now and the end of the school year, please contact Bro Al Turner at (210) 838-6870.  May God richly bless you during the summer break.

Open Open Fitness program open to all.   Fitness schedules are available in the vestibule and may be found under "Supplemental Information".

Date of Departure TBD TBD MARK YOUR CALENDERS!!!!  Grace is taking a Road Trip to South Carolina.  Our Pastor will be preaching, Sunday, September 8th in South Carolina.  The Deacons, Associate Ministers, Sanctuary choir, Ushers and Congregation are invited to accompany him.  Plans are in the works for those who want to go for a small fee.  More details to come.    For planning and cost research, please sign the designated folder if you are planning on riding the bus to South Carolina, September 5-9, 2013.

Sunday, 6/23/2013   9:45 - 1:00p.m. 38th Church Anniversary Celebration and Dinner!  Dinner to be served following church service.  Please sign the designated folder for planning purposes.  All are invited to attend.
Saturday, 6/1/2013  10:00a.m.  FATHERS!!!  Mission 2 will be honoring all the fathers of Grace on Saturday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. in the MPC with a special, love-filled brunch full of encouragement and good food.  Please make plans to attend with your children and sign the designated folder in the vestibule no later than May 29th.  We look forward to honoring you!
Saturday, 6/1/2013 7:00p.m. 

The Youth Choir will be singing the National Anthem at the Silver Stars basketball game on Saturday, June 1st.  The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm and it is against the Los Angeles Sparks.  Admission to the game is $11, which includes admission and a beverage.  It is Faith and Family night, hotdogs and popcorn are $1 each.  All choir members are encouraged to participate in this event.  All youth, other than choir members, and adults interested in attending the game are requested to sign up in the designated folder in the vestibule.  All youth tickets will be purchased by the Youth Department.  Adults are required to pay the $11 cost.  The deadline to sign-up for this event is Wednesday, May 22nd.

June 3-7, 2013 
  Attention Members:  Remember the voice crying in the wilderness spreading the good news and disciples going around teaching and preaching God’s Word?  Today, we can continue to proclaim Jesus to all and we can utilize every means (CDs, DVDs, Blue rays, I-pads, etc.)  We are inviting you to attend Vacation Bible School this year where our theme is “TEXT JESUS”.   Vacation Bible School will be June 3-7, 2013.  Please refer questions to Sis Avis Banks (279-3958) or Bro. John Young (522-0839).  Remember you can “TEXT JESUS” but not while you are driving.  Please sign the designated folder in the vestibule.

July 8-12, 2013 
TBD  The Youth Department will be participating in the 2013 Guadalupe District Congress, July 8-12.  The Congress is a spirited-competition between churches on biblical knowledge.  The ages and categories for competition are as follows:  Ages 3-5 Story Telling, Ages 6-8 Storytelling, Ages 9 -10 Memory Work, Ages 11 – 12 Memory Work, Ages 13 -16 Sword Drills, Ages 17 -24 Extemporaneous Speaking and Young People’s Speakers Tournament.  Parents, we solicit your support in encouraging your children to participate in the Congress.  Our youth have done a wonderful job in the past of studying their materials and representing Grace in a very positive manner.  We look forward to their continued hard work, dedication, and in making this a great outing in which to display their love for the Word of God through Storytelling, Scripture Memorization, Sword Drills and Extemporaneous Speaking.
